These terms apply when you download or use Travel Currency Rates ("the app"). They are written to be read, not buried. If anything is unclear, please write to support@travelcurrencyrates.com.

1. The agreement

By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. The app is published by Petr Nejedlý, sole trader, Sokolská 234, Velké Popovice, Czech Republic, IČO 88085562.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, subject to the App Store and Google Play standard end-user license terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by applicable law.

3. Exchange rates are informational

• The rates shown in the app are mid-market reference rates sourced from a third-party provider. They are intended to give travelers a useful estimate, not a tradeable price.
• Banks, card networks, ATMs, and merchants apply their own spread and fees. The rate you actually pay or receive will differ — sometimes by several percent.
• When the app is offline it uses cached rates that may be outdated. The app shows the last-update timestamp on every conversion screen.
• You are responsible for verifying critical financial information before you act on it. Do not rely on the app alone for wires, large purchases, business transactions, or contracts.

4. No financial advice

Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The app does not facilitate currency exchange, money transfer, or any regulated financial activity.

5. Purchases

The app is sold for a one-time price through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Refunds are governed by the platform's standard refund policy. We do not process payments directly and do not store your payment details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app in violation of applicable law;
• attempt to bypass technical protection measures;
• use the app to harm, defraud, or mislead other people;
• scrape, redistribute, or resell exchange-rate data obtained through the app.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on a third-party exchange-rate provider for the underlying data and on Apple / Google services for installation, updates, and purchases. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside our control.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app or the exchange-rate data will be uninterrupted, error-free, or correct at any given moment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petr Nejedlý and its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, including but not limited to financial loss caused by relying on a rate shown in the app. Our total liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so part of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where relevant, surfaced in the app.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
